Pagan Preserves Project Click here for an update on our fundraising efforts! What is the Pagan Preserves Project? A committee of the Immanent Grove began raising money months ago toward the long-term goal or purchasing property in central Maine for use by Pagans. What we envision is a property of several acres within an easy drive of the Augusta area, suitable for multiple outdoor uses. Eventually, a multi-purpose building may be possible, but in the meantime, open circles, camping retreats, small outdoor fairs similar to Pagan Pride Days, outdoor shrines, and a labyrinth would all be possible after simply clearing space and providing for parking. Imagine the possibilities! To facilitate this, we'll be looking for acreage that includes some already cleared space if possible. We're aware that the goal of $10,000 isn't enough to buy much land, but we've decided to put off creating an official organization for the project until we have that much. People with an interest in participating, please contact us! This page will provide regular updates as to the state of the savings account, news about various fundraising efforts, and how to help. We leave a donation jar for this project in plain sight at Immanent Grove (and some other) events, and locally crafted "Book Jewels" are now available at Apple Valley Books and other locations, with a portion of sales supporting the Pagan Preserves Project.
